The final Demo Day will be held on April, 11, at the Russian Venture Forum with more than 2,000 entrepreneurs and 150 investors being present.
The exhibition of the event is supposed to be attended by innovative companies that will have time to apply until March 04, 2019 and will be selected by the Forum Judging Committee.
Following the preliminary pitch sessions the top 50 companies will have the opportunity to speak to the members of the Russian Federation government, the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, spokesmen for state corporations, early stage funds, private funds of the largest Tatarstan gas and oil companies, private investors and institutions of innovative development. 10 successful projects are destined to receive grants and awards for the implementation of developments up to 20 000 0000 rubles each and become a participant of the training program in the international acceleration centers of Asia, USA and Ireland.
According to the ratings of 2018 Tatarstan is again in the top of the leading regions from the viewpoint of innovative development. The activity of the innovation environment and the existing infrastructure for business incubation of SMEs in the region is off scale. Over the past 3 years small innovative companies having been represented only at the Russian Venture Forum could manage to attract more than $2,000,000 for their developments. Among other Tatarstan companies having passed through the acceleration program we can outline Yorso, Try.it, Mouse, NovaST, IrbisTech, BeTrip etc.
RVF with good reason is considered to be one of the most successful launch sites for innovative developments in Russia. Last year, 542 projects from 24 countries were registered to participate in the Forum. The event is held under the close attention of global investors, business angels and professionals from the development institutions which annually gather in Kazan to discuss the trends of the venture capital market and to exchange experience with the leading international experts. Participation in the Forum is a unique chance for startups to find partners and investors, to lay a good groundwork for their future business.
Submitting an application as a start-up for the participation in the Russian Venture Forum the submitter agrees to participate in the Idea-1000 program within the nomination START-2 from the Investment Venture Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan and in the International Acceleration Program developed by Pulsar VC.
