The landmark 20th Russian Venture Forum (RVF 2026), held from April 8 to 10 under the theme "Technological Leadership: Investing in the Future," became the largest in its history. The event drew over 7,000 participants and 350 experts from 25 countries, including the CIS, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. It showcased significant commercial momentum, resulting in 22 signed agreements and over 1 billion rubles in preliminary investment requests, surpassing last year’s 900 million rubles.

The expanded three-day program kicked off with an innovative "Day Zero" focused on Innopolis networking and the creative industries. The main business program on April 9-10 featured a high - level plenary session with federal ministers and regional leadership discussing national technology mandates and scaling strategies. Industry highlights included a lecture on global AI trends by Rostelecom VP Dmitry Reydaman and an international success story from RTSIM CEO Airat Mukhametzyanov, whose Tatarstan-backed digital simulation startup grew into a leader with over 400 million rubles in revenue and offices in the UAE and Nigeria.

The forum also prioritized specialized growth sectors through targeted satellite events. The Bioeconomy track mapped out industry strategies through 2035, while the Creative Economy track focused on scaling artistic ventures via accelerators. To secure future talent, the Youth Day hosted the "100 Leaders: Tatarstan of the Future" module for entrepreneurs aged 18-25, backed by federal and regional ministries.

On the exhibition floor, 150 companies-including 24 international startups from India, Iran, the UAE, and Belarus-aligned their showcases with Russia’s nine national technological leadership mandates. These covered critical industries such as unmanned aerial systems, automation, advanced materials, healthtech, food security, and aerospace. Out of 1,300 applicants, 210 teams participated in pitch sessions, culminating in an awards ceremony where Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin presented acceleration program slots to 10 winning startups alongside corporate prize winners and Gaica AI hackathon champions. Ultimately, the anniversary forum cemented Tatarstan's role as a leading hub capable of driving innovation from university concepts to global industrial scale.
